SAIC VW launches long-wheelbase Lamando sedan

Sino-German joint venture SAIC Volkswagen launched the Lamando L sedan on Thursday.
The model, available in four variants, is priced from 149,900 yuan to 189,900 yuan.
The Lamando L features a sporty design, available in six bright colors. Coupled with its extended dimensions and new technical features, it is expected to appeal more to tech-savvy young car buyers.
Among other things, its wheelbase has been extended by 75 mm to hit 2,731 mm. The sedan's total length reaches 4,784 mm.
It sports such things as the wide-head-up display and the smart MOS 3.2 system that offer a rich variety of infotainment content.
The model features the MQB Evo architecture and offers Level 2 ADAS functions including lane assist.
The Lamando is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. Its fuel consumption stands at 5.92 liters per 100 km.
