Adapted from the masterpiece of Victor Hugo (1802-85), the Chinese drama Les Miserables held its first news conference in Beijing on March 31. Starring famed Chinese actor Liu Ye as Jean Valjean, it will premiere at the Beijing Poly Theater in January 2023. Here are some photos from the press conference!
