Dubbed “the most beautiful village in China”, Wuyuan county in East China’s Jiangxi province is one of the best places to admire rapeseed flowers. In March, around 6,700 hectares of golden rapeseed flowers are blooming all over the county. They surround Huizhou-style folk dwellings featuring whitewashed walls and grey tiles. Hordes of tourists come in the spring to enjoy the beauty.

The most beautiful rapeseed flowers in Wuyuan can be found in the Jiangling and Huangling areas. The Jiangling Scenic Area boasts one of the top four rapeseed growing areas in China and is known as a world-class photography base. The Huangling Scenic Area is said to be one of the “10 most beautiful terrace fields in the world”. In mid-to-late March, pink peach blossoms and white pear flowers start to bloom, attracting bees and butterflies. What an idyllic scene to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
