JMC Ford Technology launches Equator Sport

Jiangling Ford Automobile Technology launched the Equator Sport SUV on Monday, which is expected to help the Sino-SU joint venture to compete in the competitive mid-size SUV market.
The model, available at four trim levels, is priced from 139,800 yuan to 165,800 yuan.
It sports the Ford EcoBoost 170 engine, which has a maximum output of 125kW and a peak torque of 260 Nm.
The model has a body as wide as 1,935 mm, thus ensuring great comfort for passengers in the middle of the second row.
Its maximum trunk space of 1,422 liters offers enough room for family travel supplies.
In terms of smart features, it sports the Ford Co-Pilot 360™ driving assistance system. Using a millimeter-wave radar and vision fusion solution, the system offers functionss such as LRAS, DCLC and APA 5.0.
The model has two 12.3-inch displays. Tencent's smart car system, AR real-time navigation, and WeChat are available in the SUV.
