The number of serious cases increased by 3.

As of 24:00 on March 26, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 17,253 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 16,257 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 996 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and 13 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 26, the National Health Commission had received reports of 143,240 confirmed cases and 4,638 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 111,035 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 27,567 confirmed cases (including 53 cases in serious condition) and 13 suspected cases. 2,212,014 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 382,398 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on March 26, 34,508 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,338 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on March 26, 306,043 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 283,395 in Hong Kong (7,101 had died and 41,804 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 82 in Macao (80 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 22,566 in Taiwan (853 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
