Located in the hinterland of the Lesser Hingan Mountains in northeastern Heilongjiang province and across the river from Russia, Yichun is another wonderful city in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province. Known as “the capital of rime in China”, “the hometown of Korean pine”, and the “forest oxygen bar”, it is rich in forest resources and boasts large areas of rime covered in snow. It looks very beautiful in winter. In addition, the Red Star Volcano Geopark, the Stone forest of Tangwang River, the Dajing Mountains, and the Ku’erbin River are lovely tourist destinations.
