Exhibit in SW China explores costume culture along the Silk Road

Throughout history, the Silk Road has witnessed an assortment of Chinese costumes representing different time periods. The Chengdu Museum in Southwest China’s Sichuan province has opened an exhibit to showcase 186 cultural relics from more than 20 museums across the country. Silk fabrics, costume and accessories, figurines and picture bricks outline the transformation of Chinese costumes and accessories along the Silk Road. Admire their charm here!
