Jinan among China's top 10 cities for tourist satisfaction

Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, was listed in China's top 10 cities for domestic tourist satisfaction, according to the 2021 National Tourism Service Quality Survey Report that was released by the China Tourism Academy.
The cities of Hangzhou, Xi'an, Chongqing, Beijing, Qingdao, Suzhou, Chengdu, Haikou and Xiamen also made the list.
Jinan, dubbed as the City of Springs, boasts 72 famous springs such as Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring, which create stunning natural scenery.
The city's unique spring water landscape was included on the preliminary list of UNESCO world cultural heritage sites in 2019.
The report noted that more efforts should be made to strengthen the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures in 2022 to ensure the safety of tourists, and local authorities should issue preferential policies to promote rural tourism.
