Oraclebone scripts, dating back to the Shang Dynasty (c. 16th century-11th century BC), are the source of Chinese written characters. To display the development of the Chinese writing system, the National Library Jinwan Cultural Center in Tianjin is holding an engaging and innovative exhibit that is drawing many visitors interested in the profound culture of written Chinese characters.
