Haval's compact SUV Shenshou hits market

Great Wall Motors' most popular marque Haval launched its compact Shenshou SUV on Saturday.

The model, available in six variants, is priced from 130,000 yuan to 167,000 yuan.

The SUV features a brand new design language that makes it more appealing to young car buyers.

There are two engine options of 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.

The variant with the 1.5-liter engine has a maximum output of 135 kW and a top torque of 275 Nm.

The one with the 2.0-liter engine generates a maximum output of 165 kW and a top torque of 345 Nm.

The model's interior has a center console basically free of physical buttons.

Instead it has a 14.6-inch center console display. It also features a liquid crystal dashboard and a 25-inch head-up display.
