Huuliin Gol, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, turned into a beautiful white world this month, with mountains in the city capped by snow.

Huuliin Gol boasts rich resources. The Huuliin River coal field has reserves estimated at 12.1 billion metric tons, making it one of the top five open-pit coal mines in China by volume.

A local electric power project featuring a circular economy won a UN award for Today's Transformative Step by the United Nations for 2020.
