With few records found in recorded history, the State of E, a state under the Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC), remains mysterious to most people. But we can get a sneak peek of this ancient state by visiting an ongoing exhibition on its treasured bronzes at Shanghai Museum, which will run until Jan 16, 2022.
