A group of expats from seven countries, including Italy, Australia, Pakistan and Iran, joined the latest "Go Jiangsu" trip to Suzhou's Wujiang district, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 17 and 18, to learn about the area's efforts and progress in preserving the ecology.

Wujiang, as the only geographical junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, boasts unique geographical advantages and is also the central part of the national strategy of integrated regional development of Yangtze River Delta region.

This trip began with a launching ceremony that gathered the expats, officials and media representatives.

Then the group toured around Tongli National Wetland Park which features a complete and well-functioning ecosystem and vibrant greenery. It is one of the few well-preserved natural wetland parks in the Yangtze River Delta region.

"Tongli National Wetland Park is different from other natural parks (that I have visited before)," said Khan Shameel from Pakistan. "This one has much more nature. The scenery is better and the environment is nicer. There are many more things to learn from."
