Established in 1925, the Palace Museum is installed in the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing (1368-1911) dynasties, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is popularly known as the Forbidden City. The white snow that Beijing recently received really stands out against its red buildings and yellow tiles, as you can see in the following pics!
