GAC Aion launches compact Aion Y SUV

Chinese electric carmaker GAC Aion launched the 2022 version of its Aion Y SUV on Monday.
The electric compact model, available in seven variants, is priced from 109,600 yuan to 157,600 yuan.
It has two electric motor choices: 70 kW and 135 kW, and three driving range options: 410 km, 500 km and 600 km on one charge.
Compared with the previous edition, the new model has been available in two more body colors and one interior color.
In terms of smart features, it has been updated to unlock the door and start the vehicle when the authorized owner approaches.
GAC Aion is one of the most popular electric carmakers in China. In September, GAC Aion sold 13,500 units, up 96 percent year-on-year.
