Audi made world premiere of its A8 L Horch in China on Friday night. According to the German automaker, the limousine is exclusively tailored for the Chinese market. The new model is the embodiment of Audi‘s innate identity of modern sophistication – a progressive interpretation of high-class experiences, according to the company.
Based on the A8L, the model’s wheelbase is stretched 130 millimeters to a total length of almost five and a half meters.
The car comes in two additional exterior colors, nimbus grey and oak green.
Werner Eichhorn, president of Audi China, said: "In 1988 Audi founded the premium market in China. From the start, we have always addressed the specific market demands in China. More than 30 years of trust of our customers in China are a great obligation.
"The A8L Horch is the embodiment of what we want to express with our slogan 'in China for China'. It is the flagship among a series of models and the result of precise engineering and dedicated customer care that we offer exclusively in China to meet customers’ demands."
