Fancy a great place to learn more about Chinese Neolithic culture? You can visit the Yangshao Culture Museum in Sanmenxia, Central China’s Henan province! Located near the Miaodigou archeological site, the museum sheds light on the Yangshao Culture that existed along the Yellow River from around 5000 BC to 3000 BC. The discovery of this Neolithic culture is considered to be the beginning of modern Chinese archaeology.
