During the 2021 Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Ningxiang saw a gradual recovery in the cultural tourism market since the COVID-19 pandemic in Hunan province has been subdued. In this holiday, tourists were encouraged to record their tours by short videos and attend the 2021 Ningxiang Cultural Tourism TikTok Short-video Contest.

Tourists were drawn by various performances, such as Jade Rabbit Garden Party in Fantawild Oriental Heritage, folk customs performance, firework show and so on.

Autumn is the season for hot springs. Many tourists went to Ningxiang with their families and friends for the first hot spring bath in this autumn. Huitang Hot Spring Resort provided such theme activities as grape picking, gourmet taste, parent-child games and performances.
