Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen launched its C5X crossover on Thursday, priced from 143,700 yuan to 186,700 yuan.
Built on the EMP2 platform, the model measures 4,805 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm.
The C5X, manufactured at the joint venture's plant in Chengdu, Sichuan province, sports a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and an Aisin 8-speed transmission.
The model, available in four variants, generates a maximum output of 175 horsepower and a top torque of 250 Nm.
Among other things, the model boasts electronic shifter, called the E-toggle, and a head-up display that measures 500 mm in length and 234 mm in width.
Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen said it has received over 10,000 orders on the model since its pre-sales started in August.
