Wuling launches Asta SUV

SAIC-GM-Wuling launched its Asta SUV on Thursday in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, as its second model for the global market.
The Asta carries the Wuling’s silver logo, which is designed for the global market. The first such model was the Wuling Victory, and over 80,000 units have been sold since its launch in the first half of 2020.
The Asta SUV is available in five variants, with its price varying from 69,800 yuan to 99,800 yuan.
The model measures 4,594mm long, 1,820mm wide, and 1,740mm tall, and has a wheelbase spanning 2,750mm.
It sports a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and it is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.6 seconds.
The Asta features the its Ling OS unveiled at the event as well. More models will feature the system in the future, said the carmaker.
