Great Wall Motors' Ora launches new Cat-series models

Great Wall Motors' electric car marque Oral unveiled the 2022 versions of its Cat-series models on Saturday.
Of the Heimao, or the Black Cat, model, there are six variants, with their driving range ranging from 301 km to 405 km on one charge. Their post-subsidy prices are from 69,800 yuan to 84,800 yuan.
Inside the vehicle, a new display is added to enable the driver to have better digitalization experience.
The 2022 Baimao, or the White Cat, has three variants. Their driving ranges on one charge range from 360 km to 401 km, and their post-subsidy prices are from 71,800 yuan to 88,800 yuan.
Into the Baimao family, two new Yemao, or Pussy Cat versions, have been introduced with more sporty features. The two versions can run for 340 and 401 kilometers respectively on one charge.
Ora said it will unveil a Baleimao, which literally means Ballet Cat, at the forthcoming Chengdu auto show, which is scheduled to open later this month.
Ora is one of the best-selling electric car brands in China. Its deliveries in July totaled 7,251 units, bringing the total deliveries in the first seven months to 59,798 units, up 378.4 percent from the same period last year.
