Sanya's Wuzhizhou Island receives national-level sports, leisure pilot unit honor

The Wuzhizhou Island Tourist Zone in Sanya was determined to be the 2021 national-level sports and leisure service standardization pilot unit, which is one of two units selected on the list from Hainan province after the recent approval of the Standardization Administration of the PRC.

The selection of Wuzhizhou Island is an affirmation for the tourist zone's accomplishments in promoting the construction of sports tourism, strictly implementing tourism standardization, and tourism service quality.

Wuzhizhou Island is a national 5A-level tourist attraction that integrates island sightseeing, sport projects, honeymoon vacations, and parent-child tourism. In recent years, it has set up a new ecological parking lot, 3A-class toilets, a music fountain plaza and a marine sports service center. It has also put eight high-speed passenger boats and ships dedicated to entertainment and diving into operation. The service industry in the tourist zone has been enhanced through the comprehensive improvement of its tourism facilities, the environment, service policies and vehicles.

Meanwhile, the tourist zone has established a diving club, a water supercar union club and a riding club, creating activities for water sports enthusiasts. It provides professional skills courses and certification service as means to continuously offer better experiences to tourists.
