The ancient Silk Road promoted communication between East and West. Unearthed cultural relics and natural fossils of animals and plants are on display at the China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, offering evidence of how Chinese people's lives and thoughts changed with the arrival of exotic flora and fauna brought along the Silk Road.
