Have you been to the Haichuang (or Hoitong) Monastery in Guangdong province, where erudite Buddhist monks often gathered for artistic activities and the exchange of Buddhist practices around the 17th century?
The Guangdong Museum is displaying the paintings and calligraphy of those monks. The exhibition highlights their remarkable achievements in art, seal carving, architectural landscaping, and exchanges between the Eastern and Western world.
