FAW-Volkswagen delivered its first ID.6 Crozz vehicles on Sunday in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
The large-sized electric SUV is the second electric ID series model of the joint venture. The first one, the ID.4 Crozz, started deliveries in March this year.
FAW-Volkswagen said the arrival of the model within four months of the ID.4 Crozz's delivery shows its determination to accelerate its transformation towards electrification and digitalization.
The carmaker is planning to launch four electric models in three years, covering sedans and SUVs.
The ID.6 Crozz is built on the MEB platform in FAW-Volkswagen's plant in Foshan, Guangdong province.
Smart features including lane keep, front assist and other ADAS functions as well as augmented-reality head-up display are available in the model.
With a wheelbase of 2,965 mm, it has a driving range of up to 580 kilometers on one charge, according to the carmaker.
FAW-Volkswagen said customers can find over 200,000 charging pillars through its app, and the number will grow to exceed 250,000 by the end of the year.
