'Tanbo art' a big hit in Chengdu suburb

A grand piece of tanbo art work featuring three lovely pandas has become a big attraction in Helin village, a suburb of Chengdu, Sichuan province.

According to agriculture and forestry experts, the work is composed of different kinds of rice. Each one features different colors and qualities, and the picture will look its best until the end of July.

Drawing a steady stream of visitors, it epitomizes the village's philosophy of development driven by eco-tourism.
