Authorities said the site of the former residence of Li Dazhao, a pioneer of the Communist movement, the former editorial office site of La Jeunesse, a magazine considered the springboard of the New Culture Movement, and the former newspaper office of Jingbao or Beijing Press founded by Shao Piaoping, a pioneer in journalism, were opened to the public on June 1.

In addition, some key meeting venues, such as Laijinyu Pavilion at the Zhongshan Park, and important memorial facilities, like the Li Dazhao Martyrs Cemetery in Beijing's Haidian district, reopened to the public on the same day.
