Wedged between Hunan province, Chongqing municipality and Hubei province, the Grand Canyon Scenic Spot in Enshi, Hubei, is the stretch of Qingjiang River Basin and dubbed the “Oriental Colorado Canyon".

The area is famous for its two scenic areas, the Yunlong Ground Fissure and Qixing Village. The two core areas cover 35 square kilometers, are open to the public and are two natural museums of limestone karsts with abundant geological diversity, including limestone pillars, caves and an underground river.

Opening hours: 8:00-16:00 (March to November)
8:00-15:00 (December to March)

Ticket price: 110 yuan ($16 ) for visiting Qixing Village
40 yuan ($5.80) for visiting Yunlong Ground Fissure

Notes:
The special geography environment of Enshi Grand Canyon contributes to the unique blended cuisine that has both the spicy heat of Sichuan food and the salty heat of Hunan flavor. Visitors should try some local snacks.
