The Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang district, Shanghai,  opened for free to nurses from May 9 until International Nurses Day, which falls on May 12.

Visitors who hold nationally recognized valid certificates (a nurse practice certificate or nurse qualification certificate) and have made online reservations can enter the botanical garden for free during this period.

This year marks the 110th International Nurses Day, and the free ticket event is meant to show respect and gratitude to nurses who fought against COVID-19.

The botanical garden is a popular tourist attraction at the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort. It covers an area of 207 hectares, making it the largest botanical garden in East China. It is currently home to approximately 10,000 plant species, including some rare and endangered species.
