On April 30, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 16 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 7 in Guangdong province, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and 1 in Yunnan province), 3 new cases of suspected infections (all were imported cases in Shanghai), and no deaths. 19 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 528 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on April 30, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 5,673 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 5,386 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 287 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 11 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on April 30, the National Health Commission had received reports of 90,671 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 85,710 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 325 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 11 suspected cases. 1,008,010 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 6,479 were still under medical observation.
On April 30, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 16 new asymptomatic cases (all were imported cases). 17 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and 4 (imported cases) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on April 30, 319 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 310 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on April 30, 12,951 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 11,774 in Hong Kong (209 had died and 11,416 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 49 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 1,128 in Taiwan (12 had died and 1,053 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
