Hotpot is a unique Chinese cuisine and considered by many people as China’s national food. Hotpoters put all kinds of ingredients like meat, vegetables, seafood, bean products, and mushrooms into the boiling broth in the pot, and start enjoying them once they're cooked, which usually takes less than a minute.

Funiu is a kind of cattle raised in Northwest China’s Qinghai province. Its high-quality beef is provided at a halal hotpot restaurant in Beijing called N36. The restaurant is named after the latitude of Qinghai, the hometown of its owner.
