Wey, the premium arm of China's Great Wall Motors, upgraded its brand and the global premiere of its all-new model Mocha late Wednesday.

Li Ruifeng, Wey's chief marketing officer, said the new-generation vehicles should be smart and considerate.

Bearing this in mind, the four-year old brand is working on a three-in-one solution that offers smart driving, smart cabin functions and smart service.

Via such channels as the cloud, the vehicle, the dealership and the smart phone app, Wey is building a service system that offers smart and considerate mobility.

Wey's Smart Coffee, which is billed as the digital engine of the brand, is empowering its vehicles and enabling them to notice and meet the demands of drivers and passengers alike.

The first model featuring Smart Coffee, an SUV called Mocha, held its global debut at the same event.

Wey said the model is industry leading in terms of smart architecture, smart driving, learning abilities and performance.

Among other things, it sports the lidar, Qualcomm's class-leading SnapDragon 8155 chip, the auto-grade 5G and V2X hardware, the auto-grade lidar, the augmented-reality head-up display as well as the Level 3 autonomous driving domain controller.

The model is also Wey's first vehicle to sport a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and the 9-speed dual-clutch transmission are other highlights of the model.

Wey said it is scheduled to make the foray into the European markets, with the first stop being Germany.
