China’s first State-owned glass museum, the Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass in North China’s Hebei province was recently designated as a national second-class museum.

Its various exhibits, including folk glass ornaments, contemporary glass art treasures and exotic collections, present the beginning of China's glass culture, the evolution of its glass production techniques, and even the state of the glass industry during its most flourishing periods to fully demonstrate the important role of glass in people's lives and its unique cultural and artistic charms.
