China' largest SUV and pickup maker Great Wall Motors is showcasing its latest models under brands ranging from Haval to Wey at the ongoing Guangzhou auto show.
Haval's 3rd-generation, four-wheel-drive H6 SUV made its debut at the event that will last until Sunday. A new model joined the brand's popular Dagou series, and its pre-sales started at the event as well.
Another Haval model, called Chulian, which means first love literally in English, was unveiled. The carmaker said the model, built on Great Wall Motors' platform Lemon, is positioned as the first model for the Generation Z.
The compact model, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, has four variants and boasts such features as Level 2 autonomous driving functions and a 360-degree parking camera.
Great Wall Motors' Poer-series pickups are another highlight at the company's booth. The series have boosted the carmaker's pickup sales to over 200,000 so far this year.
The carmaker is the first Chinese brand that has an annual sales of over 200,000 pickups. It has a market share of nearly 50 percent in the Chinese market.
The carmaker's high-end brand Wey kicked off the presales of its Tank 300 SUV, which is available in three variants.
It is the first model built on the company's platform Tank unveiled in July this year. Tank is positioned as a global professional intelligent off-roader platform that contains SUV and pickup models in different segments.
