Dongfeng Fengxing, a brand of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co, unveiled the T5 EVO on Tuesday in Beijing.
The SUV, which adopts a brand new design language, is a “strategic model designed for the young”, said the carmaker.
It sports a Mitsubishi 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, generating a maximum output of 145 kW and a top torque of 285 newton meters.
It can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.5 seconds and consumes 6.6 liters of gasoline per 100 km.
The model has a body of which 76 percent is high-strength steel. In terms of smart functions, it has Level 2 autonomous driving.
Four cameras and 12 radars have enabled the safety of its autonomous parking function.
The model sports the industry-leading Future Link 4.0 system and connects with Tencent’s onboard system.
The Fengxing T5 EVO is available in eight colors. It has a 2,715 mm wheelbase, thus offering much more space for passengers.
