Nov 11: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 17 new cases of confirmed infections (16 imported cases, 6 in Tianjin municipality, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 1 indigenous case in Anhui province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 21 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 746 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 3,640 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 3,274 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 366 confirmed cases (including 2 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.
As of 24:00 on Nov 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 86,284 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 81,228 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 422 confirmed cases (including 6 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 871,455 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 17,279 were still under medical observation.
On Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 15 new asymptomatic cases (including 13 imported cases). 23 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 17 imported cases) and 2 (imported cases) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 776 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 480 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 6,015 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 5,389 in Hong Kong (108 had died and 5,153 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 580 in Taiwan (7 had died and 528 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
