Watch it again: the Colorful Gannan Shambhala Tourism and Art Festival

The opening ceremony of the Colorful Gannan Shambhala Tourism and Art Festival in Gannan Tibet autonomous prefecture, Gansu province, was live-streamed on Aug 31. The celebration included a gala, horse-riding performance and exposition of local cuisine.

The highlight of the gala was the large-scale performance of the Guozhuang Dance, a traditional Tibetan bonfire dance performed to show respect and reverence to nature, which was followed by the opening horse-riding show.
