AIIA 2020 AI Developer Conference to be held this fall

The Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, the People's Government of Shijingshan district and the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance held a joint press conference on July 31, announcing that the AIIA 2020 Artificial Intelligence Developer Conference will be held in Zhongguancun Shijingshan Park from Sept 28 to 29.

AIIA Artificial Intelligence Developer Conference has been held for two consecutive sessions and is the most innovative industry conference in the field of artificial intelligence in China. The conference aims to support artificial intelligence companies in seeking market attention, supply and demand docking and sustainable development.

Wang Aihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance and deputy chief engineer of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, stated that the 2020 Conference will include evaluations, forums, competitions, media coverage and classes.

Evaluation: In the main forum of the conference, the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance will release the latest evaluation report on trusted AI demonstration zones, the latest standards and specifications for artificial intelligence products and services and the white paper report, among other findings.

Forum: A main forum and more than 10 technology and application sub-forums will be held, covering natural language understanding, content security, computer vision, intelligent voice and data resource sharing, information technology application innovation, industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing, RPA and other hot topics.

Competition: Multiple competitions – including the Baidu and Megvii Open Source Competition, AIIA 2020 Artificial Intelligence Competition, 2020 China (Xiaoguwei) Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition – will be launched at the event.

Media: Network and traditional media will cover the entire conference on mobile and PC terminals.

Classes: Professional instructors and engineers with rich experience in product development and operations from Baidu, Megvii and other companies will offer open classes for developers, sharing the latest technology and discussing open-source ecology.

Zhang Yulei, director of the Industry Department of Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, mentioned that this year's conference will provide more professional services for developers and companies.

According to the revenue statistics of 468 key AI companies, the output value of the Zhongguancun artificial intelligence industry was about 170 billion yuan in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 13.3 percent.
