Located in the beautiful city of Chongqing, Shuangjiang Ancient Town was built during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, over 400 years ago. The town was named after the two rivers,which girdled it like a jade belt around a waist. Used as a military and commercial hub in Southwest China since ancient times, the city has many well-preserved residential houses, distinctive streets and lanes, and quiet and beautiful landscapes.
