June 11: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On June 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 11 new cases of confirmed infections (all are imported cases, 6 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Guangdong province, 1 in Tianjin municipality and 1 in Fujian province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 4 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 358 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on June 10, there remained no serious cases.
As of 24:00 on June 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 1,797 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,736 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 61 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.
As of 24:00 on June 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 83,057 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 78,361 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 62 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. So far, 750,487 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 3,179 are now under medical observation.
On June 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 4 new asymptomatic cases (including 3 imported cases). 29 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 4 imported cases) and 1 (imported case) became a confirmed case. As of 24:00 on June 10, 129 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 45 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on June 10, 1,595 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,107 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 1,051 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 45 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 443 in Taiwan (7 had been dead and 431 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
