Just the facts: Naming of novel coronavirus

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues its spread, another virus is hard at work: The virus of misinformation.

One part of this campaign is labeling the novel coronavirus a "Chinese virus".

So far, scientists have not determined the exact origin of the virus, and the place where a virus is first reported does not prove it originated from there.

Moreover, as the WHO says, a place should never be associated with a disease.
