April 11: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On April 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 46 new cases of confirmed infections (42 imported cases and 4 indigenous cases, 3 in Guangdong province and 1 in Heilongjiang province), 8 new cases of suspected infections (all are imported cases, 5 in Heilongjiang, 2 in Shanghai municipality and 1 in Jiangsu province), and 3 deaths (all in Hubei province). 70 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,411 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 3.
As of 24:00 on April 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 1,183 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 449 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 734 confirmed cases (including 37 in serious condition) and 44 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on April 10, the National Health Commission had received 81,953 reports of confirmed cases and 3,339 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 77,525 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,089 confirmed cases (including 141 in serious condition) and 44 suspected cases. So far, 718,050 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 10,435 are now under medical observation.
On April 10, Hubei reported no new cases of confirmed infections, no new cases of suspected infections, and 3 deaths (2 in Wuhan). 28 patients (27 in Wuhan) were released from hospital after being cured.
As of 24:00 on April 10, Hubei had reported 67,803 cases of confirmed infections (including 50,008 in Wuhan) and 3,219 deaths (2,577 in Wuhan). In all, 64,264 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 47,112 in Wuhan. There still remained 320 confirmed cases (including 319 in Wuhan), with 95 in serious condition (including 94 in Wuhan). There were no suspected cases.
On April 10, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 34 new asymptomatic cases (including 7 imported cases). 25 asymptomatic cases were freed from quarantine (including 4 imported cases) and 14 became confirmed cases (all are imported cases). As of 24:00 on April 10, 1,092 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 338 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on April 10, 1,416 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 989 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 309 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 45 in Macao (10 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 382 in Taiwan (6 had been dead and 91 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
