China prosecutes over 98,500 suspects for drug crimes in first 11 months of 2019

BEIJING -- Procuratorates across China approved the arrests of over 83,800 criminal suspects for drug-related crimes and prosecuted more than 98,500 in the first 11 months of 2019, according to China's top procuratorate Tuesday.
The figures dropped 14.3 percent and 11.5 percent respectively from the same period of last year, said China's Supreme People's Procuratorate.
