The Tianjin Jinwan Grand Theater is adjacent to Tianjin Railway Station. With the city center, Haihe Scenic Area and Jinwan Square close by, it enjoys an advantageous geographical location, making an important tourist attraction and a cultural exchange window for the city.
Since operations began in September 2009, the theater has hosted hundreds of performances including operas, dramas, symphony concerts, ballets, children's plays and fork arts.
The building contains two major theaters. The big one has 1,251 seats with a large-scale lifting stage and a revolving one, a stage wagon, a unique waterscape system, a set of WIA flight equipment, 400 square meters LED panel and world-class lighting and audio systems. The small theatre on the fourth floor hosts a special cross talk session every weekend and on holidays.
