Guotai Arts Center is located in the core area of the Jiefangbei (Liberation Monument) Business District of Chongqing.
The second, third and fourth floors of the center contain the Guotai Arts Theater, which is a versatile space for staging dramas, operas, dances, concerts, cross talks and other stage arts.
The stage of the theater covers an area of 720 square meters, and the proscenium is 15.7 m wide. The three-floor theater has 802 seats, and each box is constructed with three red walls to create an intimate space for viewing.
The Yunhu Concert Hall of Guotai Arts Center on the secondunderground floor can hold up to 275 audience members. Walls in the hall are made of special acoustic materials to ensure that sounds can be transmitted clearly and brightly from the stage to the auditorium.
As the most professional concert hall in Southwest China, it is an ideal place for solo, ensemble, and chamber music concerts.
The Yunwei Theater of Guotai Arts Center, next to the Yunhu Concert Hall, is a multi-function open performance venue with 330 seats. It can host experimental theater, environmental theater and small experimental concerts, as well as small and medium-sized conferences and lectures.
