Tourism carnival opens in Guangxi

The 2019 Guangxi All-for-One Tourism Market was launched at China-ASEAN Plaza in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 22. Showcasing the glamour of Guangxi's beautiful tourism cities and promoting tourism consumption, the carnival ends on Sept 24.

Held by Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Nanning municipal people's government, the tourism market will hold an opening ceremony, a universal traveling marketing activity, a promotion fair of projects integrating culture and tourism industries, a featured folklore performance, and a theme consumption exhibition of Guangxi's famous tourist counties and tourism demonstration zones.

With the aim of upgrading the county-level tourism consumer market, creating a brand for county culture and tourism boutiques, and promoting the high-quality development of cultural tourism in Guangxi, the tourism market has four highlights.

The tourism market will be promoted through cultural tourism brand image display, intangible cultural heritage performance, project promotion negotiations, local special food tasting and exhibition, travel route products, hotel and homestay promotion and sales, and special agricultural products exhibition.

The tourism market will launch a series of preferential measures for Guangxi cultural tourism in the second half of 2019 with joint sales of excellent tourism routes, boutique specialties, goods, handmade souvenirs, scenic spots, accommodation, food, etc., to promote the consumption of cultural tourism industry in Guangxi.

It will simultaneously carry out sales of products in poverty-relief tourism areas, and focus on displaying resources and presence of poverty-relief tourism in Guangxi, and provide a platform for Guangxi to promote its tourism poverty alleviation brands.

In addition, the tourism market enables people to interact with each other by launching an online vote for their hometown or interested travel destinations.
