As an important piece of infrastructure for the Guangdong- Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area, the HKZM Bridge has been a popular destination for tourists from China and abroad. As of now, more than 10 million visitors have traveled through the bridge since it opened to traffic in October last year.

The rapid growth in the number of tourists has accelerated the process of tourism development of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. According to the construction design plan of the bridge, East Artificial Island is positioned as a comprehensive operation center integrating transportation, management, service, rescue, and sightseeing functions.
