The base, also called the CAAC Creation Robot Experience Center, is the first artificial intelligence rehabilitation training center and employment training base for the disabled in China. It was jointly launched by the Beilin District Disabled People's Federation and China Aviation Chuangshi Robot (Xi'an) Co, part of China Aviation Industry Group Co.

With total investment of more than 4 million yuan ($0.59 million), the training center is equipped with a lower limb artificial intelligence rehabilitation training robot, an upper limb feedback rehabilitation training system, an isokinetic muscle strength training evaluation system, a weight-loss gait training device, a limb linkage rehabilitation training device, a self-generating staircase machine and other highly advanced practical rehabilitation training equipment.

The employment training base will rely on the platform and the resource and technical advantages of China Airlines Creation Robot (Xi'an) Co to provide more training opportunities for the disabled and create more jobs to explore new ways to better promote and enhance the quality of employment of disabled people.

The artificial intelligence rehabilitation medical robot supplied in the training center was developed by China Aviation Chuangshi Robot Co and is the first artificial intelligence rehabilitation medical robot in China with fully independent intellectual property rights.

“The center and base will provide professional service technology and means to achieve the goal of rehabilitation training for more than 80% of the disabled people with rehabilitation needs in the next five years, and continuously improve the quality and precision of rehabilitation services available to them,” said Cheng Mo, deputy head of the Beilin district people's government.
