The list is subject to change according to regular assessments by pertinent Chinese governmental departments. The hospitals are large scale and well equipped.Each receives millions of patients annually and is competitive in treating certain diseases. As leading hospitals in the realm of Traditional Chinese Medicine, they carry out extensive research on their specific specialties, undertaking nationally commissioned projects including TCM clinical bases, TCM pharmaceutical trial institutions, or TCM key researching laboratories. Some of them have established medical cooperation with foreign countries or regions.
