Huangpi Mulan Culture and Ecological Tourism Area, Wuhan

Huangpi Mulan Culture and Ecological Tourism Area is located in Huangpi district, Wuhan city, Hubei province. It is the hometown of Mulan, a great female general during the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420-589).
According to a Chinese legend, there was a female warrior named Hua Mulan who joined the army in place of her father.
Mulan was reputed to be a very brave woman who disguised herself as a man and fought in combat for 12 years. She has become an iconic heroine in Chinese.
It is also a national geological park where a geological structure that formed 750 million years ago is well preserved.
